• Study on the Relationship Between the Layout Characteristic of Library Reading Area and the Reading Status of Users

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] Various features of indoor layout are individualized related to various reading types, which can lead to differences in reading state of users. To induce the best reading state of users is an important goal of library indoor layout, and is also the embodiment of the wisdom of library environmental services.[Method/process] Based on the literature research, the researcher analyzed the reading status indicators of users according to the theory of psychophysiology and self-efficacy. Then, in accordance with the Chinese and foreign literature, the researcher extracted five layout characteristics such as Unified Geometry, and conducted experiment by combining layout rule with nature, social science, planning, and unscheduled reading, measured reading efficacy, attention and emotional tendency data. Through SPSS statistical analysis method, the correlation between layout features and reading topics was found.[Result/conclusion] It is found that different reading areas have different layout characteristics, which can help users achieve better reading status. The result of study can be used as reference for the layout of library reading area, and can also be extended to all kinds environmental layout of nationwide reading.

  • Functional Orientation and Realization of Intelligence Studies in the Construction of Think Tank

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] To explore the function of intelligence studies in think tank and expand the development space of intelligence studies.[Method/process] This paper made a logical starting point of difference and relation between think tank function and intelligence function, took the demand for intelligence at the earlier stage,medium-term and later stages of think tank construction as the analysis objects, and then, explored functional orientation and realization of intelligence studies.[Result/conclusion] This paper analyzes the functional orientation of intelligence studies in think tank construction, including the fusion of intelligence and think tanks and the embedding of intelligence in the development of think tanks. Besides, it explores the realization strategies of intelligence function in the construction of think tanks from three aspects, which including pre-period resource support function, mid-term auxiliary function and post-period assessment function. Finally, it discusses the new feature of the above three functions and their new implementation strategy in big data environment.

  • Construction and Empirical Study of User Portrait Model of Academic Blog: Taking ScienceNet as an Example

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] User portrait marks the behavioral characteristics of academic groups, which provides basis for user identification, precise marketing of academic social platform and improvement of user experience during cold boot period.[Method/process] The public users behavior data is obtained and processed by using Python and R language. The model of user portrait is constructed from five dimensions:user basic attribute, positivity, authority, blog post influence and interest preference. The empirical study takes the blog users behavior data of Science Web as an example.[Result/conclusion] This paper proposes specific indicators and calculation methods to characterize the user characteristics of academic blogs, which shows the user portrait model has certain theoretical significance and application value for the management and operation of academic social platforms.

  • Study on Anxiety Library Reading Therapy Using Biofeedback Technology

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] Reading therapy is a way to preserve and restore physical and mental health through the study, discussion and comprehension of targeted literature. Nowadays, the increasing number of anxious people in China and the proposal of reading promotion make anxiety treatment, automatic emotion intervention and interest enhancement become important demands of library reading therapy. The paper aims to explore the use of biofeedback to train the correct mood of anxious people, and enhance fun and efficacy of the treatment. [Method/process] At the library of Jiangsu University, the researcher carried out the anxiety reading therapy, established the book medicine label portraits, and intervened and trained anxious people's emotional reactions automatically by biofeedback technology when they reading. [Result/conclusion] Comparing the data from SAS anxiety scale before and after, we can find that the curative effect of the testing group is obvious, and the three kinds of factor item have the difference of curative effect. Promotion application analysis shows that this kind of therapy in library is feasible.

  • The Key Technology Identification Method Based on BERT-LDA and Its Empirical Research: A Case Study of Agricultural Robots

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] A good key technology identification method can provide better support for key technology identification, prediction and research and development at all levels. [Method/process] In this paper, a key technology identification method based on Bert-LDA was proposed, which combined BERT and LDA to make up for the lack of contextual semantic information in a single LDA topic model. An empirical study was carried out with agricultural robots as an example. Specifically, it included the following processes: ① Constructing BERT semantic feature vector and LDA topic feature vector based on Python, combining them in a high-dimensional space, and learning the low-dimensional latent space representation of the concatenated vector by using an autoencoder; ② In the potential space representation, K-means algorithm was used to realize semantic association clustering, and the effect diagram of two-dimensional clustering and key technology subject word cloud maps were drawn; ③ Determining key technologies; ④ In the field of agricultural robots, the effectiveness of this method was demonstrated by comparing with the results of TI patent analysis and the list of key generic technologies for agricultural equipments in the "Made in China 2025" technology roadmap for key areas. [Result/conclusion] The results show that the Bert-LDA model improves the coherence of topic clustering and the accuracy of fine-grained classification. With a good key technology identification accuracy and recall rate, there are good inclusiveness, compatibility and adaptability to the identified literature data sets of different databases and publishing types. It can be widely used to identify all kinds of key technologies.

  • Analysis of Theoretical Application of Doctoral Dissertations in Library Science in China

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] As the foundation of scientific research, theory plays an irreplaceable role in scientific research results. Statistical analysis of the application of theories in the doctoral dissertations of library science in China will reveal the general overview of the application of theories in current library science research and construct the theory of library science. The system has important theoretical and practical significance. [Method/process] Taking Chinese library science doctoral dissertation as a sample for theoretical extraction, using content analysis, information measurement, and visualization analysis methods, the frequency of theoretical applications, the relationship between theories and research topics, and the theoretical source disciplines are used for multi-angle statistical analysis. [Result/conclusion] There are many types of theories introduced in the doctoral dissertation, and the interdisciplinary nature is strong; the use of theoretical names is not standardized, and the same theories use multiple theoretical names; the application of theories introduced in the doctoral thesis is not high; library science research needs to focus on basic theoretical research; theoretical applications have strong characteristics of the times; information science related disciplines will play a leading role in library science research.
