  • Construction and Trend Analysis of Crisis Theme Evolution Model in Social Media

Subjects: Library Science,Information Science >> Information Science submitted time 2023-04-01 Cooperative journals: 《图书情报工作》

Abstract: [Purpose/significance] Based on social media, this paper explores the dynamic classification of different stakeholders in the information life cycle of emergencies and the evolution rules of their concerns, so as to provide basis for more accurate crisis information monitoring and dynamic decision-making.[Method/process] Based on the factual text data of specific crisis events, guided by stakeholder theory and dynamic topic model, a three-dimensional dynamic topic evolution model was constructed to mine the classification and topic concerns of different stakeholders in social media crisis events. It included time granularity division, quantitative evaluation of stakeholders, identification and characterization of crisis themes based on time and subject. Finally, the dynamic trend was characterized by visualization tools.[Result/conclusion] Based on the three-dimensional dynamic theme evolution model, the composition and classification of stakeholders have obvious differences in different stages. At the same time, their focus themes and behavior characteristics also show different preferences and dynamic differences. The dynamics of the crisis stakeholders and the crisis theme are effectively combined, which can more comprehensively express the characteristics and regulars of public opinion dissemination.

  • Interactive Sentimental Influence Mechanism of Social Bots During an Emergency Event

Subjects: Library Science,Information Science >> Information Science submitted time 2023-04-01 Cooperative journals: 《图书情报工作》

Abstract: [Purpose/significance] This study further elaborates the intervention mechanism of social bots on netizens' sentiment and provides suggestions for the management of public opinions in online emergencies.[Method/process] Taking the incident of Zhao Xiaojing in Renji Hospital as an example, with the Naive Bayes method calculating Weibo sentiment orientation, this study used the Granger causality test, impulse response analysis, and variance decomposition analysis based on the vector autoregression model (VAR) to judge the sentiment relationship between social bots, opinion leaders and ordinary users at all stages of the event life cycle.[Result/conclusion] The sentiment relationship between social bots, opinion leaders, and ordinary users changed with the evolution of the event. In the outbreak stage, social bots amplified the sentiment influence of opinion leaders on ordinary users. In the mature stage, the influence of social bots declined, and the sentiment of ordinary users reacted to social bots and opinion leaders. In the decline period, the three maintained a relatively independent sentiment relationship; Besides, the influence strategies of social bots were both insidious and indirect.

  • Interaction and Cooperation Mode Study of Emergency Map Based on Structured Icon

Subjects: Library Science,Information Science >> Information Science submitted time 2023-04-01 Cooperative journals: 《图书情报工作》

Abstract: [Purpose/significance] This study aims to coordinate more complex crisis information interaction and collaboration by introducing structured icons to improve icon representation on previous emergency maps.[Method/process] This study designed the structured icon for crisis situations. Then a visual interaction and collaboration model based on the structured icon was designed.[Result/conclusion] Firstly, the pre-icon of structured icon can show the relationship of crisis events and improve the interactive experience of information search. Then, structured icon can dynamically represent the temporal and spatial attributes of crisis information, enhance information cognition and enhance decision makers' collaborative decision-making ability. In theory, this paper proposes an emergency information interaction model based on structured icon. It enriches the theory of emergency information visualization and emergency interaction. In practice, the research optimizes the design of icon-based emergency coordination system. It enhances interaction between participants and emergency information and helps decision makers to make accurate and timely decisions in collaboration.
