Abstract： The integration of artificial intelligence technologies in video game creation, particularly in the realm of visual novels, has emerged as a new trend in industry development. The use of AI techniques such as natural language processing, image synthesis, and sound generation has significantly enhanced the efficiency of creating visual novels. These technologies lower the barriers to entry and expand the possibilities for creativity. Moreover, the personalization capabilities of AI have revolutionized methods of creating visual novels. However, the application of these technologies has also sparked widespread discussions on artistic integrity, copyright issues, and societal impacts. Consequently, video game creators must carefully address the potential issues raised by the use of AI technologies.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance] At present, carrying out patent information service is one of the key directions for the transformation and development of academic library business. In the crucial period when more and more academic libraries focus on the service, it is particularly necessary to provide some experience and theoretical guidance.[Method/process] By the research methods of network survey, literature survey and expert interviews, this paper summarized the practices and modes adopted by domestic academic libraries in enhancing the competitiveness of patent information services, including establishing specialized service departments, cooperating with external institutions, expanding service scope, and etc.[Result/conclusion] Firstly, this paper presents five elements for the competitiveness of academic library patent information service, which contain management competitiveness, information resources competitiveness, human resource competitiveness, service competitiveness and brand competitiveness, and verified these elements by questionnaire method. Finally, it is suggested that academic library should reference the five elements and adopt the step-by-step strategy to enhance the competitiveness of patent information service systematically.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance] This paper discusses the construction of Intellectual Property Information Service (IPIS) of university libraries based on Participatory Design (PD) concept, in order to provide some references for university libraries to obtain multi-user resource and better develop IPIS ability. [Method/process] In view of the user’s multi-role community characteristics, the PD concept was introduced, various users such as government, industry alliances/industry associations, universities, enterprises and research institutes were used as creative designers and changers of IPIS, a framework for the construction of IPIS abilities was constructed, and the resources of all users were analyzed. [Result/conclusion] Taking the Shanghai Maritime University Library as an example, the users participation in providing resource support is an effective way to make up for the shortage of resources is proved, and which is contributed to the construction of university libraries’ IPIS abilities. And the expectation for the users to support the construction of IPIS abilities of university libraries is put forward in the end.
