• Innovation Management of Enterprise Archives in the Context of Digital Transformation

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] Digital transformation has an increasingly deep and strong impact on all aspects of archives management, exploring innovative management of enterprise archives in such context would provide a reference to open up a new path of archive management in line with the digital age. In the context of innovation-driven development and digital transformation, exploring innovative management of enterprise archives can provide a reference for enterprises to open up a new path of archive management in line with the digital age and to achieve reform and innovation of their archives work. [Method/process] According to the characteristics of enterprise archives innovative management under digital transformation, this paper regarded the knowledge-based archive management innovation system as a basis, interpreting the 4 innovation dimensions comprised in this theoretical construct, and further summarizing the related studies to clarify the core points of each innovation dimension. In view of the constraints of institutional innovation and the necessity of process innovation, this paper added the dimension of “process innovation” on the basis of retaining the three original dimensions, including “concept innovation”, “management innovation” and “technology innovation”. Relying on this framework, it explored the concrete practical path of enterprise archives innovation management activities under the background of digital transformation. [Result/ conclusion] It is found that innovative management of enterprise archives can be achieved by four ways in the context of digital transformation, namely moving from traditional management to green management, from absolute control to employee empowerment, from traditional technology to emerging technologies, and from serial processes to integrated processes.
