Abstract： [Purpose/significance] In the era of e-Research and big data, research support service has become one of the significant strategic directions of deepening service in academic libraries. By investigating and analyzing the current situation of research support services offered by the world famous academic libraries, this paper aims at providing reference for Chinese university libraries, and advancing the "Double Tops" process by improving research support services.[Method/process] The paper selected 76 libraries of the top 100 universities listed in the QS World University Rankings in 2017 as samples and conducted a website investigation for these libraries' research support services. Then, based on the investigation result, it analyzed the main service types and the corresponding service content and forms of research support services in academic libraries.[Result/conclusion] The research support services can be divided into 7 aspects:research data management, open access, scholarly publishing, research impact measurement, research guides, research consultation, and research tools recommendation. In order to accelerate the construction of "Double Tops" universities in China, academic libraries should formulate a strategic plan for research support services, provide support service aimed at different stages of the research lifecycle, build a dedicated research support team, understand researchers' requirements and offer targeted training, and create research support web pages to integrate and navigate service programs.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance]This paper takes the metadata standards of Data.gov, an open government data website, as an example, and analyzes its metadata system and specific standards so as to provide references for the construction of our country's open data metadata standards. [Method/process]Using the method of the case analysis, the paper summarized the system structure of the metadata standard of American open government data. [Result/conclusion]The metadata standards of American open government data can be divided into two categories, which are dataset content metadata standards and dataset format metadata standards. Data.gov uses different metadata standards to describe original datasets and geospatial datasets respectively. We can reference the metadata standards system in Data.gov in the construction of metadata standards of Chinese open government data.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance] Interdisciplinary research collaboration has become an important form and trend of academic research in the new era, and it plays a significant role in promoting scientific innovation and social progress. The analysis of its background, theoretical research and practical progress will lay the foundation for in-depth research of interdisciplinary research collaboration. [Method/process] The paper introduced the interdisciplinary research collaboration issue based on the emergence and development of interdisciplinary research, explained their connection, analyzed the development background of interdisciplinary research collaboration, summarized the main research themes and practical progress. [Result/conclusion] Foreign research topics focus on influencing factors, collaboration stage and content, and promotion strategies; domestic research involves collaboration status and potential collaboration, influencing factors, knowledge interaction of interdisciplinary team, and models and management mechanisms of interdisciplinary research organization. In recent years, research funding agencies grant interdisciplinary research collaboration projects, large-scale research institutions actively organize interdisciplinary research collaboration projects, world-class universities implement interdisciplinary research collaboration platforms and projects, and important international conferences advocate interdisciplinary research collaboration. Future research is supposed to emphasize the problem-oriented and demand-oriented nature of interdisciplinary research collaboration, and focus on the exploration of its operation guarantee system, operation mode and management mechanism, collaboration behavior and interaction mechanism.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance] To realize the effective use of "the Belt and Road" multilingual shared database resources, the problem of cross-language retrieval should be solved. Based on the survey results of "the Belt and Road" database retrieval function, "the Belt and Road" multilingual shared database’s retrieval function demand is analyzed. From the perspective of researching on the cross-language retrieval platform, reference for cross-language retrieval function design and development of "the Belt and Road" multilingual shared database can be provided. [Method/process] Through literature and network survey, 11 typical cross-language retrieval platforms at home and abroad were selected. Analysis was carried out from five aspects: cross-language retrieval method, cross-language translation implementation method, retrieval function, retrieval results, interface and retrieval support language. Then concluded their implementation ways. [Result/conclusion] Based on this, strategies are proposed for the cross-language retrieval function design and development of "the Belt and Road" multilingual shared database: adopting question-document translation method based on neural machine translation, implementing multiple retrieval functions, visualization technology used to present retrieval results, providing multi-language interface and resources.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance] It is urgent to build the economic management database of the countries along "the Belt and Road" to provide services for the economic development of the countries along "the Belt and Road" and promote "the Belt and Road" initiative. [Method/process] 33 related databases on "the Belt and Road" were selected as the survey object, and the network survey method was used to obtain information on their resource field, resource sources, resource types, languages and participating countries.Then,we analyzed it. [Result/conclusion] This paper has found that the deficiencies in the current construction process of related databases on "the Belt and Road" are mainly due to: standards on resource field are different, resource source channels are relatively single, resources types are not rich enough, the number of supporting multilingual databases is small, and the countries along "the Belt and Road" seldom participate in the construction of thematic database resources. From the five dimensions of resource field, resource sources, resource types, languages and countries, the resource construction strategy of the economic management database of the countries along "the Belt and Road" is discussed.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance] Investigating and analyzing the construction of "the belt and road initiative" thematic database to provide reference for the construction of "the belt and road initiative" multilingual and shared database. [Method/process] Through literature and network research, more than 30 kinds of databases were selected as analysis objects, and systematic analysis was carried out from the aspects of resource organization systems, resource types and content, database construction methods, and multilingual processing problems. The construction of database is characterized by different ways of information organization, diverse types and contents of resources, different ways of cooperative construction, and single page language. [Result/conclusion] The paper proposes adopting multi-dimensional resource organization methods, in-depth processing of resource content, strengthening research on cooperation mechanisms at home and abroad, and attaching great importance on the collection of small-language resources and cross-lingual retrieval research.
