Subjects: Library Science,Information Science >> Information Science submitted time 2023-04-01 Cooperative journals: 《图书情报工作》

Abstract: [Purpose/significance] To explore a humanistic knowledge base construction method based on word and entity retrieval and knowledge mining. [Method/process] This paper constructed the Zhou Qin Han Annals of the Zizhitongjian, achieved the automatic segmentation and part-of-speech tagging of the 68-volume 600,000-character text, manually annotated entity information such as persons, locations, GIS and time in the text, and designed the system of full-text retrieval and map visualization based on words and entities. This paper used co-occurrence information to get the relationship and travel information of the characters. By TF-IDF and time series analysis, the key periods, people and locations in history were automatically extracted and illustrated. [Result/conclusion] Depth information labeling based on words and entities is a good solution to the problems of word boundaries, same name with different person and different name with same person, and it can solid the basis for multi-studies on the knowledge mining and knowledge service of ancient books.

Subjects: Library Science,Information Science >> Information Science submitted time 2023-04-01 Cooperative journals: 《图书情报工作》

Abstract: [Purpose/significance] Exploring the diffusion and influence of Wilson information behavior model, that is how each component of the model is cited by other literatures, is to reflect the interdisciplinary characteristics of user information behavior research. [Method/process] The methods of citation analysis and content analysis were used to reveal the cited situation of the model in time dimension, literature type and discipline dimension and the co-occurrence relationship of the model concepts, which were displayed visually by using Gephi. [Result/conclusion] Firstly, the influence of Wilson information behavior model is increasing with time, and it tends to be cited by empirical papers. Secondly, due to the interdisciplinary perspective of the model, it has obvious influence in non-library information fields, such as social science, computer science and medicine. Finally, papers citing the model pay attention to the discussion of the content of the model, all aspects of the model have spread to varying degrees, but these papers lack in-depth analysis.

  • A Study on the Trend of International Mobility of Chinese Researchers

Subjects: Library Science,Information Science >> Information Science submitted time 2023-04-01 Cooperative journals: 《图书情报工作》

Abstract: [Purpose/significance] Based on the comprehensive standardization and reconstruction of Chinese researchers' ORCID biographies, we analyze in depth the international mobility trends and characteristics of Chinese researchers, and provide an empirical basis for the formulation of national talent policies.[Method/process] This paper used data mining methods to reconstruct the biographies of Chinese researchers by making full use of the authorship association information of scientific literature, and discussed the international mobility trends of Chinese researchers in depth and comprehensively from the perspectives of geographic distribution, mobility patterns, temporal trends, and mobility benefits.[Result/conclusion] With the improvement of China's science and technology innovation level, the mobility pattern of Chinese researchers is gradually diversified. China and countries along the Belt and Road have formed a talent circulation trend, and in the past five years, there has been a significant trend of talent return, and China has seen a surge of international students returning to China for employment. However, on the whole, the phenomenon of talent loss in China is still serious, and the attractiveness of quality talent is weak, mainly in terms of the imbalance between the introduction and loss of Chinese researchers in terms of quantity, and there is some room for improvement in the quality of internal and external exchanges of talents.

Subjects: Library Science,Information Science >> Information Science submitted time 2023-04-01 Cooperative journals: 《图书情报工作》

Abstract: [Purpose/significance] The readiness of government data opening is the perfection of the preparation for providing higher value data to the society, which is the foundation and support of open data. Based on the analysis of the influencing factors of local governments’ data openness readiness, this paper proposes the path to promote the sustainable practice of data openness. [Method/process] Using qualitative comparative analysis method (QCA), the data openness readiness policies of 13 provincial governments are taken as the research samples. This paper analyzes the "combined effect" and "interactive relationship" of various factors affecting the readiness of government data opening. [Result/conclusion] The study found that security assurance is an indispensable prerequisite for high readiness for government data openness. The four elements of data management, data utilization, departmental responsibilities, and security assurance must be available at the same time. Text effectiveness and leadership public support are used in the form of auxiliary conditions combined with data management, data utilization, security assurance, and departmental responsibilities.

Through exploratory analysis and confirmatory analysis, it was determined that the introduction and evaluation model of user participating in subject services with high quality in university libraries. [Result/Conclusion] The evaluation model of library subject services can be presented a multi-level and multi-dimensional comprehensive model with three main dimensions and eight sub dimensions.

  • Research on Relation Extraction of Academic Full-Text Based on Self-Owned Knowledge Enhancement

Subjects: Library Science,Information Science >> Information Science submitted time 2023-04-01 Cooperative journals: 《图书情报工作》

Abstract: [Purpose/Significance] Relation extraction under academic full-text is the key technology for the construction of academic full-text knowledge graph. The constructed academic knowledge graph can realize the structure and knowledge of documents, and improve the efficiency of researchers retrieving documents, analyzing documents and grasping scientific research trends, and cognitive reasoning through graphs contributes to implicit knowledge discovery.[Method/Process] Enhancing relation extraction through external knowledge has achieved results in many studies, but relation extraction for specific fields often lacked available external knowledge. The research in this paper found that the high-confidence knowledge in the full-text could also be used to assist the extraction of full-text relations. For this reason, based on the dual-system theory of cognitive processes (system 1 is intuitive cognition, system 2 is reasoning cognition), this paper designed a sentence-level model to acquire knowledge, and obtained high-confidence knowledge through remote supervision, and then high-confidence knowledge was integrated into the final classification layer of the text-level deep learning model.[Result/Conclusion] On the biomedical academic full-text data set (CDR-revised), the F1 is about 11.13% higher than the current state-of-the-art model.

  • Research on Recognition of Verbs Triggered by Events in Ancient Classics:Textual Experiments Based on Zuo Zhuan

Subjects: Library Science,Information Science >> Information Science submitted time 2023-04-01 Cooperative journals: 《图书情报工作》

Abstract: [Purpose/significance] Automatic event recognition and extraction is an important topic in current research on topic mining of ancient classics. Among them, the recognition of event trigger words is a basic work, which determined the quality of event extraction. This article aims to explore the general methods of automatic recognition and classification of event trigger words in ancient classics. [Method/process] Firstly, we explored the method of trigger verb classification construction by LDA topic clustering, which was carried out on the ancient classics combined with qualitative analysis. After the classification schema was confirmed, we building a preliminary seeds set of trigger words based on the clustering results. Then we expanded the trigger verb seeds set by the semantic similarity calculation on the ancient classics text resources. In the experiment, we took Zuo Zhuan as the experiment data sources, which is an important ancient classics in the Period of Chunqiu. The experiment tested the results of trigger verb classification construction and the expanding efficiency of trigger verb from the seeds set. [Result/conclusion] The results show that the method proposed in this paper is feasible and effective, and the event trigger word set constructed based on this has a high degree of credibility. The sample size and scope of the experiment can be further expanded in the future.
